Altiras Chemicals Offers Several Grades of Isopropanol

Altiras is a supplier of Isopropyl Alcohol, aka isopropanol. Isopropanol (IPA) can be used in the production of many industrial and household chemicals such as antiseptics, disinfectants, and detergents. It can also be used as a solvent for producing paints, adhesives, resins, and pharmaceuticals. Isopropanol can also be applied as a cleaning and drying agent in the manufacture of electronic parts, the extraction and purification of natural products such as vegetable and animal oil and fats, as a de-icing agent, and a preservative.

Altiras Chemicals is a supplier of several different isopropyl alcohol products, from USP Grade to Technical Grade to various alternatives to prime isopropyl alcohol.

USP Grade Isopropanol – This product is is available in bulk trailer, IBC’s or drums.

Recycled and Alternative Isopropanol Products

Recovered Isopropanol, 99% (Prod #10118)- this product is a high quality recycled isopropanol product. It has a color specification is <10 APHA and the odor is typical of isopropyl alcohol.

Wet Isopropanol, 50-60% (Prod #10062)- this product is 50-60% isopropanol with the balance being primarily water. The product contains only a low content (<650 ppm) of other organic materials. The color specification is <20 APHA and the product can be used in many of the same applications as diluted isopropanol.

Wet Isopropanol, 90%, High Color (Prod #09235)- this product is nominally 90% isopropanol with the balance being primarily water. The product contains up to 2% other solvents. This product has a high color, thus it is best used in application where color is less important, such as form release or as an initial solvent to high color alcohol soluble materials.

Wet Isopropanol, 70%, High Color (Prod #00481)- this product is nominally 70% isopropanol with the balance being primarily water. The product contains up to 3% other solvents. This product has a high color, thus it is best used in application where color is less important, such as form release or as an initial solvent to high color alcohol soluble materials.
